some of the things you write make me very uncomfortable, i don't why, but i think it's good for us to be uncomfortable with all that's going on around the world. The amount of deaths are mind-blowing. The times article about PTSD made me physically ill (out of sadness). I don't even know what to say about the continuing war and continuous government spending while the price of our necessities also continues to rise ...and what does this mean? It makes me think of the monks in Myanmar and how it was after the price of bread had been raised to some ridiculous amount that they began to protest ferociously. Then they were gunned down by their government. It's all very depressing.

If the world were the Outback and everyone would just go do karaoke together, life would be so much easier. Then all we would have to worry about would be which one-armed man is which, whether or not our pregnant waitress is drinking beer, and if some ridiculous Matt Dillon from There's Something About Mary look-alike is doing our song.
